Every year, we love finding original ways to say “thank you” to our closest partners. This year, we decided to do something truly special for the amazing concierges of Hotel de Russie Rocco Forte: a personalized adventure through the streets of Rome in our iconic Italian Tuk Tuk
It all began at the hotel, where we picked up our first group of concierges. The excitement was palpable – after all, this wasn’t a standard city tour. We promised them a journey full of hidden gems, historical surprises, and plenty of laughter.
Our Italian tuk tuk whisked us away through the smaller, cobblestoned streets, giving everyone a fresh perspective of the Eternal City. Passing the Colosseum, the atmosphere was a mix of familiar landmarks and the thrill of exploring corners of Rome that even long-time locals don’t always see.
One of the true highlights was Santo Stefano Rotondo, a church with a history as unique as its circular architecture. Even our most experienced concierge friends were surprised by this hidden gem. Standing in awe at the beautifully preserved interiors, you could feel the quiet magic of the city whispering through history.
From there, we drove to the vibrant neighborhood of Testaccio, where a special tasting awaited. In a 2,000-year-old cave, we shared stories, laughter, and the rich flavors of Rome -an experience that beautifully combined history, gastronomy, and friendship. It was a moment where the tour became more than sightseeing; it became a celebration of collaboration, trust, and appreciation.
